Movement caliber ZSR
The new Kieninger caliber ZSR month running cable movement with traditional half  hour strike on a coil gong. The month runtime in combination with just 3,4 kg drive weight each on a cable drive can only be achieved with highest precision and the usage of 30 high end ball bearings and 2 bearings with synthetic rubies. This also enhances durability. To ensure power during the winding process, the caliber „ZSR“ is equipped with a maintaining power mechanism. Of course the movement offers a correct second indication and a Graham style escapement with Kieniramic® anchor pallets. The acustic time indication uses a classic rake chime system and a coil gong. A pleasantly quiet night is possible with the proven and patented Kieninger automatic night time shut-off system between 10 pm and 7.30 am. The night time shut-off can be deactivated or the strike can be turned off completely. The ground and chrome plated solid brass movement plates with the all around diamond cut edges enhance the fine character of the movement. All other movement components are crafted in traditional brass and steel.
